Poly Armor Coat is an all purpose protective coating for concrete, wood, steel and masonry. Because of its excellent chemical and corrosion resistance properties and its outstanding bond, abrasion resistance, hardness and durability.

Uses

Poly Armor Coat can be used for applications in:

Surface Preparation

Concrete: Concrete surfaces should be dry, clean and free from all dust, oil, grease and any kind of loose coating. Concrete surfaces should be sound. New concrete should be acid etched with muriatic acid(1 part acid: 3 parts water) and then rinsed three times with fresh water. Allow to air dry and then apply Poly Armor coat. Old concrete surfaces, particularly smooth ones should be blast tracked. Steel: Steel surface should be dry and free from rust, oil, grease and any kind of loose paint. Steel surfaces should be sand blasted to white metal according to Steel Structures Painting Council Specifications. Wood: Wood surfaces should be patched with Epoxy Gel (Polyflex Gel) at the joints and knots. Lightly sand the surface and apply Poly Armor coat. Coverage: Poly Armor Coat will cover 200-300 sq. ft/gallon depending upon the substrate and its condition.
