SEAMLESS
The material may be applied to any size surface without difficulty and without seams of any kind. There are no cracks or seams to harbor dirt, bacteria or fungus. There is no risk of floor deterioration.
PERMANANT COLORS
Unlike paints, coloring agents and dyes, the color in ChemStone Quartz is provided by the Ceramic Coatings on the Quartz ( 3M ) granules. This color is permanent, locked into the molecules of the ceramic and protected by the tough epoxy coating material.
BEAUTIFUL
ChemStone Quartz forms a smooth, glossy surface. The colors are seen through the clear epoxy coating material. It has a three dimensional character that provides an interesting change in texture and view when seen from different angles.
COMPOSITION
The ChemStone Quartz System consists of ceramic quartz, non-yellowing water clear Epoxy System, and a non-yellowing aliphatic polyurethane.
SCUFF AND ABRASION RESISTANCE
The Epoxy Coating material stands up to abrasion and normal foot traffic for years. It resists heal impact and furniture load. It is a very, very tough floor.
SOLID COLOR NONSKID FLOORS
In this case, instead of color ChemStone Quartz, plain stone Quartz (Flint Shot 40:20) is used. Colors of your choice are made in the Epoxy System. Strength, wear, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance are the same.
EASY TO MAINTAIN
With its seamless surface sealed, a ChemStone Quartz floor requires very little care. To clean, all that's needed is an occasional mopping with mild detergent and water.
